A few days ago, I was making a batch of No-Bake Chocolate, Peanut Butter and Oatmeal Cookies for Jeff, and I realized that I’d been using a different technique for months but hadn’t changed the recipe in the post. So I opened the post, made a few changes and saved it.
Then, I went to the Recipe Index and opened another post, just to see if it needed any changes.
Could I have set aside a few minutes every day to update every post on the entire site? Like a reasonable person? Of course! But the recovering English major in me wasn’t having it. So I’m very, very, very happy to report that the index is fully updated, and I’ll be doing maintenance regularly. Because you don’t want to see the things on TV at 3 a.m. My eyes!
These cookies, more than any other food in the whole world, remind me of my childhood! My mom and I used to make them all the time together. Sweet memories :-)
Love these, but have often had trouble making them in Florida, thanks to the humidity. When they don't set, we call them "ice cream topping." :)
