Christmas Challenge No. 8: Hook up some holiday music.

Advent Calendar / Saturday, December 8th, 2012

Welcome to our Online Advent Calendar series, where we’re doing 25 days of Christmas challenges to get everyone into the spirit! (BTW, the video up top is of Jimmy Fallon, The Roots and Mariah Carey doing “All I Want for Christmas Is You.” Love it.)

Hook up some holiday music!

With so much great Christmas music out there (and so many ways to listen to it), there’s no reason for anyone to suffer through “The Christmas Shoes” ever again. Create a playlist of your favorite Christmas songs in iTunes. Check out what other people are listening to on Spotify. Or try out the Christmas stations on Pandora (I’m partial to Swingin’ Christmas).

Here’s the Very Merry mixtape I created on 8tracks. You’ll hear Michael Bublé and The Puppini Sisters doing a little retro “Jingle Bells,” Cee Lo’s “What Christmas Means to Me” (which is owning me right now), Darlene Love and more.

Very Merry from RebeccaCrump on 8tracks Radio.

Today’s Link: Spend a minute or two with “Disco Dancing Santa.”
